These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Synapse (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This document is a plain-language summary provided for convenience and is not legal advice. Consult a qualified lawyer for your specific situation.
1. License to use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App except as expressly permitted by its accompanying license.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. You will not:
- use the App to access, test, or attack systems you are not authorized to use;
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or misuse the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
You are solely responsible for the requests you send, the endpoints you target, and any credentials, tokens, or data you configure within the App.
3. Your data and files
The App stores your collections, selectors, and configuration as plain files on your own device. You are responsible for backing up, securing, and managing those files. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
4. Intellectual property
The App, including its name, design, and code, is owned by its creator and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
5. Third-party services
The App sends HTTP requests to endpoints you specify. Your use of any third-party API or service is subject to that provider's own terms and policies. The App's creator is not responsible for third-party services.
6. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the App at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App's creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the App.
8. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the App and survive termination where required to give effect to their meaning.
