Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Short version: Synapse collects nothing. No accounts, no tracking, no telemetry, no cloud.
This document is a plain-language summary provided for convenience and is not legal advice.
What we collect
Nothing. Synapse has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. The App does not send any usage data, identifiers, or personal information to its creator or to any third party.
Where your data lives
Everything you create — collections, selectors, variables, credentials, and configuration — is stored as plain files on your own device, in a directory you choose. Your data never leaves your machine unless you put those files somewhere else (for example, your own Git repository or backup).
Network activity
The only network traffic Synapse makes is the HTTP requests you explicitly send to the API endpoints you configure. The App does not contact any servers of its own. Requests go directly from your machine to the endpoints you target, and their responses are handled locally.
Third-party endpoints
When you send a request, you interact directly with that third party's service, governed by their privacy policy. Synapse has no involvement in, visibility into, or responsibility for how those services handle your data.
Credentials and secrets
Any API keys, tokens, or secrets you enter are stored only in your local files. Treat those files like source code: keep them secure and avoid committing secrets to shared repositories.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Because the App collects no data, changes will typically only clarify existing practices.
